For the record, my point isn't that this game is offensively bad or anything, just that I can't think of any other franchises with a bigger jump in quality between the peak and the first entry, or even the first entry to the second.
Some of the most unresponsive controls I've ever experienced. Could hardly beat the first character and didn't feel like trying the second stage. This is my first Street Fighter game, btw, and I know the others can't be as bad.
