there's a lot of effort on display presentation wise, which makes the rushed release all the more confusing. gameplay is still just a mess of ideas taken from other games but not executed as well as what they're ripping off. it's about what you'd expect from an ea star wars game in 2023.
Im 4 hours in and it really is just more of the same just as if I’d be continuing the first game plus better graphics. Combat still just as clunky and annoying by unsatisfactorily copying DS. I heard plenty of voices who claimed this to be improving on the first game in every possible way. I cannot confirm that at all. Everything is completely similar. (Except graphics like I said)
HOWEVER the game itself is kinda great? I've got a couple complaints, but it doesn't matter too much when it got its hooks in me so well.
Something about the stance system essentially combining Dark Souls-lite (crossguard), Sekiro-lite (single), and Bloodborne-lite (blaster) into a single game just scratches so many itches at once, even if it isn't perfect
When have Triple A Games become so tedious and boring? Awful artificial level design, bland character shells, frustratingly badly converted souls like gameplay. There is nothing about this I even remotely enjoy.
