      FWIW 3.7 is still a damn good score for a game on glitchwave. Even if it weren't, would it really matter that people on a niche game review website didn't like it as much? The influence of spelunky reverberates through the soul of the indie roguelike genre like a fucking concert hall.

    one time a teenager on discord tried telling me this game was misogynistic because of being able to throw the damsel at enemies

    the exact quote was "you are literally performing violence upon a woman by participating in that mechanic", laughed my ass off when i found the screenshot earlier
