Reviewing the Atari ST version. One of my favorite of all the Sierra games. This marks a point at which everything seems to come together for the Space Quest series, the graphics were far superior to previous SQ games, the design was awesome, the world building was vast and coherent, and it was fun! I spent many hours playing Astro-Chicken.

This felt way shorter than the first two, but that might just be because I was enjoying it more. The visuals took a huge step up, the structure is actually pretty open, which contrasts nicely with the more linear first two games, and there's a nice balance between classic Sierra puzzling and minigames. Really solid all around.
