You are Joe Musashi, ninja master, who has to rescue his students from the dojo and fight other ninjas as well as punks and Schwarzeneggers.
The game starts at just the right difficulty and isn't too challenging when you get the hang of your shurikens and your melee attacks, your only, but laser-tight and easy methods of attacking. Every enemy is one shot, one kill, but so are you, and most of the time you will guard yourself from getting hit in any way. What's really challenging though are the bosses, and the boss of the third stage in particular(Mandara) is nigh impossible to beat, which is why I've given up there and watched a playthrough from there on out. It's a very simple and prudent game you can pick up multiple times for a quick physical fix, but offers little more.
