I believe currently Remakes/remasters/whatever only are separate if its entirely new code or something, so i dont think this counts. Regardless, this game is gonna get so much more love with returns, so fantastic, all the secrets are so fun and the art is beyond lively.
Definitely not the case since Yakuza Ishin (Kiwami) is a from the ground up remake in an entirely different engine (therefore new code) yet it doesn't get its own page. Theres no consistency or logic behind these decisions.
yeah, I def want to get to that soon. I had some choice words before the original thread got locked, but I've been a bit busy with other matters lately
It really feels like part of the confusion from the mod perspective is that this game kinda looks like how you remember the original ROR looking, hence why they think it's nothing but a remaster. But when you compare it to actual footage slash playing the original, you immediately realize how much better looking this is, as well as how different it plays. Granted, if a complete remake like Super Mario RPG can't even get its own page, then I guess this game has no hope in hell to get one too, sadly.
I was leaning toward remaster, but part of me is now leaning toward remake. If there was a "remix" option, I'd probably go with that, lol.
this is just like when they made the literal from the ground up remake of yakzua ishin just part of the same page
