I cannot rate the GunCon support, though without true buttons of its own I cannot imagine they were much good. Aside from that, Survivor is a terrible experience, with no weight to its combat, no save capability despite a campaign almost as long as Nemesis, a hazy and unconvincing split path system, B-grade presentation and no real X-factor to make the game interesting beyond the worst controls in the series.

Technically I've never played this with a lightgun as intended, but even if I give the gameplay the benefit of the doubt, every other aspects of this game is so poorly put together that I can't imagine it would have improved things much if I'd played it "right". Besides, region-locking the basic controls of the video game is such a monumentally stupid decision that it single-handedly justifies every negative review this game will ever get.
Not the first resi game I was expecting to play to first when I wanted to get ready for the RE4make but the mouse injector it got did motivate me a little
Not a good game but kinda entertaining once you can aim properly. I like the idea of the multiple routes and that classic PS1 RE vibe is untouchable. The tyrant becomes piss easy with how much mobility you get with mouse control bsfdhbdsg
