Title
Played this one on the C64 when it came out.

After Hillsfar, this was the first Gold Box game I ever played, and the first one that had the classic first person stepper movement. Dear old Phlan is under siege and the feisty mayor wants you and your trusty band of heroes to un-siege matters. One notable thing about this installment was the grid-based world, and how you essentially had to clear out Phlan and some of its environs suburb by suburb. This mechanic gave you a great sense of achievement as you slowly thwarted Tyranthraxus grid by grid.

I doubt I could play this game again - it'd look and play way too old for my liking, so this review and its rating are driven by nostalgia. It was certainly great fun, and some of the turn-based battles were challenging.
