i used to love this game as a kid before my dog ate the cartridge. i came back to replay it (with a rom hack that adds new pokemon - sky expanded i think it's called? forgot) and i blow chunks at it. idk why i suck so much at it when i was so good at 11 years old

sure the gameplay is a little hard to get into the groove of (esp if u dont have the patience for all the repetitive treasure town errands, personally i find setting up before heading out to be soothing in its routine) but i find all of the different ways u can win in various battle situations when dungeon crawling (hurling items, regular atk stalling, team/move building/linking, etc) very interesting and engaging as a gameplay loop

well the game DID birth a whole generation of furries in some way or another

furry is when you play as non-humans
