Pocky & Rocky is a game well worth seeking out if you need your Super Nintendo fix. It has really nice graphics which make it looks like a polished "retro game" of the past decade and it's fast-paced with lots of colourful enemies. I've only encountered slow down once or twice while playing which means they somehow got a lot of bang for their buck in the world.
It's a relatively short game with only a few levels but it's tough as nails even on Easy mode. It's got a solid soundtrack and good sound. What more do you really want in a cute'em up game?

I don't mind the American boxart but it does feel weird seeing these very anime characters get turned into Hanna-Barbara rejects. At least they didn't go down The Legend of the Mystical Ninja route and make them super detailed and grotesque
