Pit Pot

Pit Pot is interesting, but fleeting. For some reason it reminds me of Adventure, and the layout is a maze where you have to find all the treasure items in a stage in order to get to and rescue a princess. But if you get to the princess without having all the treasure, it's a cruel game over!

The maze wraps around, and the main gimmick of Pit Pot is that you have a mallet which you can use to destroy the floor blocks you walk on: You have to be careful not to destroy the bridges you need to walk on, and it's your only means of protection against an endless wave of enemies, but with the lack of any indication of where you need to go, especially when getting those few treasure pieces that are missing, you will be forced to backtrack a lot and suffer tediousness. Be sure to draw a map as you play along.
