Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Trials and Tribulations

Definitely felt like the first game nailed the courtroom drama aspect of the series the best. Narrative storytelling though, this was banging

I didn't expect this one to be so good given that most people agree that 1>2 and that baffles me but god damn yeah this one's so much more tightly written.

after 16 fuckin' years, 3-5 is still one of the very best things I ever experienced

Just wrapped up the trilogy, and what a ride. Admittedly having a hard time seeing why T&T is that much better than AA1 outside of maybe just that it's a rare finale that sticks the landing, but both games are hard 4.5s to me.

I remember this being so absurdly good, especially the soundtrack. Well, that was some 15 years ago anyway. I'll have to see how it holds up when I can be bothered to replay it.
