Title
Midway ports another of their arcade racers to the N64: Off Road Challenge is essentially Cruis'n USA with 4WDs and dirt, and it's just as bad. Everything about this game is glitchy and unrealistic. The speed is inaccurate, the collision detection is garbage and vehicles have spasms when they hit bumps in the road or scenery. The frame rate is ass, as are the graphics and ugly 2D sprites. The odd activity that goes on in the background of races, at least, is amusing; on my excruciating journey through the game's six tracks I caught glimpses of UFO battles, what I'm pretty sure were Nazi planes, and more.
