Coming into this assuming it was just a souls clone, the Ki system and stance system are genuinely pretty neat and are giving me good hopes for how the rest will turn out.

Amazing game. There is nothing soulsike about this game. Normal coherent story? Check. A lot of loot? Check. Complex combat with different stances? Check. Mission based level? Check. Music is not only reserved for bosses? Check.

The only soulsike thing are chekpoints and souls drop when dying. Oh and its hard, but come one. Super hexagon is too.

The audience of this game are souls fans but this is objectively a mix of Diablo 2 loot game with Onimusha and Ninja Gaiden mixed in.

Wish I played this before completing Sekiro and not after. Not terrible, but it was a hard playthrough and its not because of the difficulty.
