Title
Goemon's Great Adventure takes the series in an interesting direction, flattening the scope of Goemon's second outing on the N64 into a semi-3D sidescroller. Though overly difficult at times, the main levels are fluid and fast-paced. Unfortunately, they become a welcome respite from the leftover RPG sensibilities like town exploring, pass collecting and item finding that don't gel, slow the game down and fill it with obscure roadblocks.

    No comments? Not as great as the previous N64 title and the 2 player mechanic could have been executed better, but it's still a lot of fun.
