To be honest, I don't have way too much experience with this game's Survival and Adventure modes, and while I might come around to trying out either of them at some point I have far more use for this game's Creative mode. I mean, really, it's a giant virtual box of Legos that I can use to build as many overground and underground worlds as I want. I'm not really one for giant timesinks of games these days, especially ones with no real end-goal, but this is the big exception for me.

i got a lot of playtime out of this before i got bored. if i had started when i was young, i would probably never have stopped playing. it feels like an exploration of liminal spaces
Open to hearing reasons why this shouldn't be a 5/5 besides pure hipsterism. Seriously, purely as a game Minecraft has surely proven itself, even if we don't enjoy it so much anymore coz we burnt ourselves out of it, that doesn't truly reflect the experience it offers as a game to newcomers, right?
