Title
Miitopia is not an innovative or even very good game most of the time. It has terrible pacing issues and it's very repetitive and far too easy. But you don't play it for that. You play Miitopia to have fun with mii characters and make silly scenarios. The golden age of Miis was always with the original Wii system and I have often wondered if there was anything that could bring back the fun of making silly miis and developing an attachment for them. Since playing through this with some of my younger siblings and having them all design lots of miis to use in game, we have all found a lot of miis that we find funny or just develop a connection to.


So all in all, it did exactly what I was hoping it would do. It let me live out a bit of nostalgia even through the framework of a very mediocre rpg.

    oddly enough this is probably one of my favorite battle systems of any game but only when holding the speed button the entire time. it's like doing crack and it rules

    This game is way too repetitive and tedious to have any right being as long as it is. I would have happily given this a higher score if the game ended after the dark lord fight and all the quests weren't necessary to complete the main story

    The gameplay loop can get repetitive and there's not a lot of depth to the combat given the lack of player involvement but I really enjoyed how simple and charming it is. Very relaxing game to just come home from work and play for a couple hours and it's always fun to see how my characters interact with each other.
