Best in the series. Atmosphere on par with the first game but with better gameplay, stories are about evenly matched, music probably slightly better in Mafia 1 because of Django Reinhardt but its still really good here too
Not only was the original version incredibly underwhelming when compared to the first game, but on top of that it got the WORST REMASTER OF ALL TIME, seriously how is it even possible to screw up this badly.
I can't help but love this game despite its flaws. Vito and Joe are some of my favourite characters in all of gaming and the storytelling is unforgettable. So glad this game was part of my childhood.
