Title
When I first saw the trailers for this game a couple of years ago, I had no interest in it. The characters were unfamiliar to me and I was too narrow-minded to give it a chance. However, after playing through the first episode, I was hooked. The game tells a great story about being a positive influence on someone you care about and the consequences of not doing so. Although both the first game and this one have their strengths, I think this one is underrated and deserves a better score than it currently has.

One of the greatest games I've ever played.
not joking why is this rated so low, it's the best game of the life is strange games and honestly one of the best, most emotional and compelling narratives in gaming history.

why this is so much better than the first one:
- you will not want to gouge your eyes out after every line of dialogue
- choices actually matter (even little tiny things, relationships are very important to the ending), tangible sacrifices are made
- not nearly as predictable
- just looks better (mouth mapping still sucks though)
- script is SO MUCH BETTER, characters actually make sense and talk like human beings, voice acting is really good
- characters were much easier to empathize with while having flaws, threats in the story much more tangible than time travel being able to fix every possible issue
- lovely relationships, family/love/friendships all feel very real
- the aspect of moving all over the place brought lots of new environments, beautiful scenic shots
my main gripe:
- most villains very one-sided, face value (except Lisbeth and her group were more interesting)

    Never mind the 'woke' agenda, you should all be criticising this game's cheap emotional manipulation, lack of meaningful choices, characters ignoring your decisions to head straight into the bad situations you know would've been easily avoided if the writers didn't decide to just say "no" at the choices you made as a player.

    the racism in this game was really annoying. it made me think that every white character was just gonna end up being racist. i just its a political message and all, but it got super repetitive.

      i'm just starting episode 5 right now. my main issues are that it's a really slow game and that the side characters have very little depth. i think karen is the only character that's really connected with me in any way.

      also, it seems like the game likes to introduce issues without really saying anything about them? like the scene where you get beat up in the desert - the game essentially just says "these people are racist. this bad" without anything deeper. and the religious trauma bit. jacob has religious trauma, okay. is there anything more?

    It's so much better than the ratings suggest. I was a bit reluctant to play it, but the story engaged me, and Cass is my biggest crush in a video game ever
