I have no idea how to properly rate this game, I have no idea how to view this game other as an 8-year-old version of me
I remember this bloody game so vividly and I haven't played or seen it in over 20 years. This is one of those games that were made for psychedelics and surrealism like many games try to (and fail) to emulate. Games like "Tim the Incredible Machine", "Blupi", "Redcat" and this game.
Even back then, I was immediately drawn into becoming into an open world that work non-linear, you could choose what to do first and missions had effect on the overworld. Looking back, the game induced fear and anxiousness pretty early without me figuring out it was because the main bad guy was a though baddie to defeat.
The building, racing, voice acting, it all add up towards my idea of a plunderphonic, they try so many different ideas and implement them all into a game and see what lands for a LEGO aesthetic.
I'm an enthusiast in psychedelic substances, and many times I visualize this project, for me it has a special place, but also a place I would never want to taint by looking up or playing the game.
