Outstanding, and for so many reasons. Both games flawlessly modernized the core gameplay of Dungeon Master when no one asked them to, but deliberately ignores the bar that Stygian Abyss and Lands of Lore set for mechanics and narrative respectively. it's all very classic and minimal compared to even something like Wizardry VI. the frustration for the occasional puzzle was soothed by the Talos Principle levels of majesty the early areas have. the experience may remind some of King's Field too in that the whole place seems intentionally set up to irritate and confuse the player (good thing).
cons? has more "illusionary wall paranoia" than any FromSoft game and really needed ~2 more distinct areas
