for a series already full of beautiful visuals and adorable personality, it says a lot that Kirby's Dreamland 3 stands out among its peers. the game uses a hand-drawn pastel style which is truly vibrant and gorgeous, similar to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island [スーパーマリオ ヨッシーアイランド]. however, the graphics are far from derivative and capture the spirit of the kirby franchise we've come to know and love from previous titles. there is also great use of lively animation which works with the art style to give the characters and environments remarkable expressiveness. no two levels look the same and that is something rare in most games of this time.
