Title
It's similar to previous King's Quest games but now there is a sort of deeper, more linear kind of story to the game which is put forward in stages. You're in one big location where you have to complete a big objective before you move to the second half of the game that brings a completely new 25x25 grid, so that sort of novelty is refreshing. As is the time schedule feature, where our hero is held captive by a wizard who goes on in daily routines like walking or sleeping. Another cool inclusion are magic spells you can make which demand detailed instructions as well as hard-to-get ingredients, but you'll going to need 90% of the spells just to complete the game alone.

I wouldn't say this is anywhere near as impenetrable as the previous King's Quest games but you'll still gonna need a walkthrough for this one.
