Looks like the physical manefestation of autism. And I mean it in the best possible way. The concept sounds like it was made up by some 7 year old that got those O' baby, a triples in Call of Duty and thought Ben 10 and Teen Titans were the shit.
Feels so surreal that a game like this exists, similar to Studio Ghibli's films. Added to my backlog
this was my first rpg that wasn't pokemon growing up and it introduced me to final fantasy and similar games eventually. obviously I'm nostalgia biased a bit but the atmosphere is just so unique and surreal. The concept is obviously nonsense yet they carve out a new identity from the mashup and create some truly atmospheric and memorable moments out of it. the combat system isn't as refined as it is in KH2 but it's still deeper than it has any right being and feels great to play even today. visually it still looks great, the art style aged nicely. absolutely goated soundtrack for this and kh2 as well.
