Surprised to see this rated lower than the first game. It's sort of a partial remake and sequel at the same time, and imo this one's the better of the two. No color, sure, but the graphics are still more than characterful and charming enough to make up for that. Not to mention it feels like the charge powers are better implemented in this one, where they're a little bit (only a little bit, mind) closer to tools you can use creatively to overcome various obstacles instead of "Use power x to advance" like the first game. The sound suffers a little for being on the Game Boy, and the levels come in shorter chunks (which I guess could be a pro or a con), but overall this just feels like a tighter experience.
