Katamari Tribute (Katamari Forever in localizations) is essentially a modern sampling collection of the franchise's levels. The infamous cow-bear level, the bonfire level, among others.
The only nitpick I'd have is that it's designed to be a nostalgic runback, so a lot of levels have tighter pars for time to reflect a userbase of skilled players wanting to experience their favorite levels again. This makes it pretty unsatisfying and punishing as a very first entry for new players, but veterans will definitely appreciate the harsher conditions from a design standpoint. Some have as much as half the previous allowed time on them, while others, such as the cowbear and bonfire, which are mechanically independent of a timer, are suddenly the easier levels in the collection since you can't reduce the timer to make them any harder.
New players should definitely check out the original or HD re-releases of Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari if they want the full experience, as those have similar quality-of-life adjustments without the challenge mode timer crunches, and both those games offer as many levels per game as Tribute/Forever does, which means getting those two instead is the better deal regardless.
