The advantage of a co-op only game like this is that it makes great memories with however you are playing with, and I'm sure everyone that played will have lots of stories to tell about the experience. As for my myself I have played with my 9 year old daughter and it was a pretty fun experience figuring out things together and making progress throughout the game.
The game itself is pretty good, but it's not really that innovative outside of the forced co-op. The platforming elements are stuff that we've seen and that's been repeated throughout the years in the genre, some of the boss fights are pretty generic for example. I think most of the fun from my side came from figuring out the puzzles, and how me and my daughter would discover elements each on our side to eventually move forward. The game isn't especially hard or anything, you pretty much have infinite lives and the checkpoints are very generous so I think everyone should be able to complete it if they only put the time in it. The biggest strength here is probably the flow of all things, the game just feeds you with constantly different things and the environments are pretty nice.
The storyline while a little corny at times does have some things to reflect upon, and I could relate to it myself being as I have been married for several years and like everyone had ups and down with my partner. The humor is pretty good too, I did laugh several times at some of the jokes and rebuttal from the protagonists. However the ending feels a little rushed and there is no grandiose final stage, which kinda just feels like the other ones. It's definitely a game that you will not want to replay as everything is experience in the single playthrough without really any special unlocks or secrets either. Still it was a fun and good experience, the game does have high production values and its co-op only mode does make it unique among other similar games.

Played with my partner but couldn't finish it because we shared equal hatred for the insufferable, poorly written main characters. Gameplay was pretty fun and varied, however.
for me, this one suffers from limp writing and overstretched gameplay. my partner and I weren't engaged enough to finish it. probably would've worked better if it had a smaller scope.
