Met my expectations rather than exceeding them. Hitman 3 is a satisfying end to the trilogy but not really as good as 2, mostly just because the same pieces are all still there but sanded off a little. The maps are a bit smaller, still have lots of environmental storytelling going on but overall less to do in each, and the story of 2 is mostly just continued instead of properly expanded upon, though it still remains compelling spy fiction with an anti-corporate elite stance. Even the one entirely linear level was still better than the entirety of Absolution.

its obviously predictable and simple but in terms of level design replayability and gameplay the entire Hitman: World of Assassination trilogy excels in that area
even though this doesn't feel as monumentally great at first glance, like Hitman 2 did, this is still an immaculately crafted game. Even if it's not as good as it could've been, it's still miles better than most other games
also i genuinely like the last level and how the game just kinda tells you "you can just kill the civilians on this map too if you want"

I'm the opposite. I thought it felt great at first glance, but then a lot of the levels show themselves up on further playthroughs to be really lacking the same complexity and replayability as the first 2 Hitman games.
I am currently mastering all the trilogy levels and at the moment i think each installment is better than before. Some levels in H2 were just too big and had too much different stuff put into them. H1 levels feel a bit underdeveloped in terms of overall design and visuals (at least Marrakesh, Bangkok and Colorado do not feel good enough), but here almost every level except the last one feels like they achieved perfect balance of complexity, size and... i dont know... everything feels so perfectly designed and some visuals are breathtaking.
