"Hitman 2" was fun, but it's literally just a set of new maps with no significant change compared to the previous installment. IO Interactive is now an independent studio, and it looks like they had to cut costs with the cutscenes. The plot never mattered much so I am glad that they gave priority to the gameplay, always as fun as it needs.

It does it’s job at providing a climatic challenge, that’s for sure.
Setting the one Washington sister on fire ‘Wicker Man’ style felt great. As did schmoozing the Constant into letting me into the tower where the other sister was held up. Was there a lot of trial and error involved in all that? Yah but hoooo mama it felt good to execute.
Its one of the best levels in the series, the level design is very good.

Isle of Sgail is amazing, I still can’t get over how good Miami is though. It’s by far and away the most ambitious and biggest Hitman level and the best sandbox in terms of all the stories and npcs.
It’s basically a full game on its own. You could probably spend 30+ hours in that level and still not see everything
Definitely think this is the most ambitious and replayable Hitman game
Party Hard, Death to Spies, The Ship (if you manage to get a multiplayer lobby for it), 2009's Saboteur has slight Hitman mechanics, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 1-2 tries to aim at this sandbox formula. Maybe you will also like Heat Signature. Can also recommend Clandestine since it's got slight social engineering elements, but it's clunky and aimed more at OG Splinter Cell, spy stealth infiltration fans.
