Really?I found the first stage pretty easy with cleric, beat it after 3-4 hours and I feel like dodging hordes is much easier and less punishing with less strong builds than in vampire survivors due to being able to aim with mouse and making exits during horde attacks and Idk how hitboxes work but it feels that I'm walking through enemies without getting hit sometimes. The second stage I only played twice, but it felt much harder though.
Honestly, I think I just didn't really know what I was doing. Later on I started putting more focus into HP, regen and block damage. Eventually felt like as long as I got those really high and kept levelling up my weapons and passive attacks, I could never lose.
after 4 hours of playing I made it to the 30 minute mark on the first map, but that spawns a boss that has insane amount of health. Pickup range is important and also lots of health.
I finally beat the first final level boss after 8.5 hours. I find the later characters you unlock are significantly stronger and beat the boss super easily with the cleric, versus initially using the archer which took forever and I eventually died.
Really fun, enjoy the fact that you can toggle between auto aim and mouse aim in game, really simple thing yet a lot of bullet heaven games could benefit from.
reached 30 mins on the first map on my second attempt, all those hours of Vampire Survivors really paid off, speaking of which this is such an improvement on the Vampire Survivors formula, being able to aim and manually attack if you wish adds such a needed element of real action to the game
