Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

put me on to so many great bands

I really dislike the difficulty balance on III. I can do plenty of games from the Rock Band series on Expert, but GH3 has many tracks that are more painful than enjoyable, even just on Hard. I have never got anywhere close to surviving The Devil Went Down to Georgia boss fight on Hard. :(

I also overall prefer the presentation and gameplay of the Rock Band games in other ways (e.g. the slightly different system they use for charging and activating Star Power/Overdrive).

But I did like how Guitar Hero had more detailed post-track stats breakdowns.

The guitar hero/rock band series is a 10/10 all together for me just for the sheer amount of hours I put into them, I cannot deny these games a perfect score. For some reason I chose GH3 to represent this series... Maybe because it has the most consistently fun and memorable tunes
