Title
This is the sequel to Golden Axe [戦斧] a game that I thoroughly enjoy for the same reasons I enjoy this entry. You can read what I said there for a more in-depth description of what I like about these two games but to summarise, it's a good beat em up with a medieval setting with great graphics, great combat and multiple ways of tackling the campaign our heroes are in, with each of them having a distinct gameplay style to encourage both multiplayer and replay value.

    Golden Axe II is like Final Fight 2. It’s perfectly okay but nothing new. GA 1 and 3 are better than this.

    it didnt manage to improve the formula of the first title substancially, and by 1991 there were already much better belt scrollers
