Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, is a arena fighter that debuted as the first of the Atari trilogy Godzilla games where the player(s) takes control of one of Toho's greatest Kaiju and fight against the "Vortaak" a race of aliens who aim to conquer the planet, taking control of the Earth's Kaiju while doing so. The player must then use their kaiju to fight against the Vortaak's legion and repel their invasion.
