Frostbite

Frostbite is a delightful mix of Q*Bert and Frogger, where you have to jump on icy platforms to collect materials and build an igloo. It's a shame there's a multitude of enemies that are directly designed to shove you off. You can avoid it by changing the course of the ice floats which is a great idea, but unfortunately doing so costs you your precious igloo blocks, which is a bullshit mechanic. The incredibly short time limit that's imposed on the player is bullshit, too, and rarely will you ever complete an igloo within a single life. The game is really good-looking though, as expected of Activision in its Atari days.

I really wish the initial levels replaced enemies with the fish from level 2, which you can collect for bonus points. That way players wouldn't hit a steep lurning curve, but would also have enough of an incentive to try to traverse around the ice floats.
