Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation

A "middle road" between Conquest and Birthright in the worst way possible. Take the lobotomized gameplay of Birthright and mash it against the most gimmicky sections of Conquest.

Honestly, all the routes of Fates should have their own page. They're all very different. Conquest is amazing, but a lot of people will miss out on it because they see the reception to Fates on the whole and they think it's all bad, when it's definitely not.

Really the only bad Fire Emblem game. Like what the fuck happened here? The maps aren't half as interesting as those in Conquest or even Birthright outside of the shared maps, which are often the same but with worse gimmicks or worse starting points and enemy placement, the story is atrocious and defeats the purpose of the entire game, we have plotholes galore, the characters still fucking suck, like everything here is a disaster. It's only really saved by the fact that it's still Fire Emblem, so it has that crutch to lean on as Fire Emblem has a great gameplay formula that really is hard to fuck up.

It's more fun than people give it credit for
