This game is a freaking danmaku, rrrrrgh, never lose your focus! Exed Exes is a typical follow-up to the mammoth success of 1942, and does little to stand out. A great bonus is that it can be played cooperatively, though, so get a buddy to help you out.

Generally speaking I'm way more into sci-fi and shootin' aliens than I am "realistic" wartime settings, but seriously, just play 1942 instead. I just played this game for like an hour and I already can't remember any of it. At least Vulgus had backgrounds that changed every so often.
