I'm completely inexperienced with shooters so I'm unsure of how much 'depth' this game has but damn was it rough, very fun though. The OST is actually godlike and is severely underrated, made everything a lot more exciting than it probably would be otherwise.
The PS1 has a ton of better shooters than Einhänder (see Harmful Park, Gradius Gaiden or Thunder Force V) but neither of them have a soundtrack like this game has.
