Title
Duck Hunt is simple arcade fun, and there's hardly anything wrong with that. It looks solid, is easy to play, and has a variety of game modes to keep you busy - if you don't fancy duck killin' the clay pigeon mode is a good vegetarian option. A more than solid time, and in some ways maybe even a classic.

Title
I personally thought Wild Gunman was more creative gameplay-wise, because it brings that moment of suspense and the challenge of cutting the other gunman to the chase and smacking him. Plus a less predictable shooting gallery brings more variety upon repeated playthroughs. While the setting Duck Hunt brings is certainly novel(the cartoonish characterisations of the ducks and dog are brilliant), its chiefest trouble is that it gets boring so fast, and including the reticle or not marks the border of the game being either too easy or too hard.

Title
This one is one of the most memorable NES titles, but perhaps not for the right reasons. It is supposed to play with the light gun accessory, but unfortunatly i have no acess to it, so i played a remake with the mouse using as aim. That way i have no idea how well the gun worked, but in terms of gameplay it gets old really fast. I can understand why so many people wanted to murder that dog. No good dog would laugh at their owner

    I can tell you that even back in the 90s we never played light gun games too much. Wild Gunman was definitely better than Duck Hunt, but even then those play sessions never lasted more than 30min. Although the light gun worked decently well.
