There were so many different variations of Tetris to come out and this is essentially the Sonic version of Tetris. You connect blobs that are the same color and it clears them and you must prevent them from reaching the top of your screen. Meanwhile you have an opponent who you are competing with. As you progress the opponents get more advance and the speed increases. Its an okay game I guess, but it really feels more or less like a quick cash grab when Sonic was at the peak of its popularity following Sonic 3. I really don't have as much nostalgia for this as the other Sonic games and it really never stood out to me.

In fact, do I have to be the first one to remind everyone here that this is a re-skin and westernization of the Genesis/Mega Drive version of Puyo Puyo?
