Everything in this game feels like a chore. But collecting and evolving Digimons is really fun, sadly once you have the strongest or stong Digimons there is no reason really to keep playing, and you can get these Digimons around mid-game as well.
also the female character models all seem to have broken their spines in a few places so they could stand sticking their chests out as much as possible, it honestly feels like an ecchi visual novel at times lol. it's especially jarring if you play as the female avatar since her normal standing pose is so awkward.
They had a start with the battle / digivolve system, yet it barely goes anywhere as it's completely drowned in dialogue and cutscenes. The "investigating" part is just dialogue, followed by NPCs solving the cases for you. This is mostly just a visual novel.
always so tired of people who are like "wow people want a good pokémon game and won't even play cyber sleuth.." like i bought the entire Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition and couldn't even make it through this one. it's not good.
