Darkstone

As a medieval RPG, Darkstone tasks players with completing quests and killing enemies to improve various attributes. In the game’s distant past, a corrupt monk named Draak turned against the goddess of light, Kaliba, and transformed himself into a dragon. Thankfully, Draak was thwarted from destroying the world with an artifact called the Time Orb -- a mystical item created from seven of Kaliba’s tears. Following Draak’s failure to protect the Time Orb from his followers however, it was split back into seven parts and scattered across the four lands of Uma. Darkstone begins with Draak having recovered from his earlier defeat, and returning to the land of Uma with his minions. Players take on the role of an adventurer who must recreate the Time Orb, and slay Draak in his lair. Although Darkstone did not sell well upon its initial release in 1999, an iOS and Android remake was launched in 2014 with cooperation from the game’s original author.
