Heard of this one from GOG, and I was mostly familiar with Clive Barker because he had a game demo called Jericho that was on PSN back in like 2007 or something, and I played it and didn't really like it. Of course years later I saw Hellraiser, but I heard this was a decent overlooked PC shooter, and so early October I busted this game out in preparation for Halloween about 2 years back. Its not bad, it plays like most shooters of the early 2000s, you have your variety of weapons, most which are basic, you have magic powers that you can use, and the game is mostly linear and having you go through a mansion and hillside areas of Ireland. I actually like the atmosphere and setting of the game, but on the other hand, the game doesn't feel like anything special, the enemy design feels a tad generic, the bosses were nothing great, there were occasional puzzles but they weren't anything I could really recall, and by the end of the game I really didn't find anything I really enjoyed too much. Yeah it was a solid enough shooter that didn't have many flaws, but it also didn't do anything new or different. Plus there were some frustratingly difficult moments near the end. The plot was decent I guess, but again, it isn't on the same level as Barker's best books or movies. So well I consider this decent, I just don't consider this to be an essential early 2000s FPS game.
