Good game, kinda whack u don't play as anything else than Americans and u don't even go to Berlin. The game is pretty short with 6hrs Campaign, Plane and Tank controls were trash and otherwise, Just Fun, good Graphics, and the Story is Decent but not as great as WaW

I always like playing cod campaigns because theyre so formulation and thoughtless and the WW2 setting is probably my favorite because of the atmosphere. theres pretty much absolutely nothing new here thats different than cod world at war, just some modern polished graphics and animations. The story 'band of brothers' although typical and generic, I enjoyed watching it unfold mostly because of the high production value.
A lot of the over the top michael bay stuff was just laughable though and out of place in a serious gritty war game. Some of the missions are memorable, others feel like filler such as the stealth missions as the french woman and the tank/flying sections. the snow levels are comfy and familliar, and realy most of the campaign is decent with a few annoying filler sections.
the guns feel good and punchy, good animations, and fun weapons. shooting enemies is satisfying, and thats really all you need coupled with some decent atmospheric levels.
I mostly just come for the atmospheric campaign, mindless linear missions, writing, and quick in and out missions. Its the same cod as always, except now you dont have regeneratiing health and have to find med kits or ask your squad members for health. its not a bad change, it makes the gameplay feel more slow paced and tactical.

Call of Duty World War 2 arrives at a time where the world in basically fed up with the sci fi setting, and attempt to bring back freshness and authenticity with the world war 2 setting. So far so good. As usual the game offers 3 modes, of which i had experience with the competitive multiplayer and the singler player campaign so far.
Campaign: this really surprised me how good it was. And i mean it isnt great, but its good and enjoyable to beat through. Gameplaywise it got me worried right from the start with walking sections and turret sections, as well as extremely linear structure. Thankfully, the fixed health and less spawning of enemies, makes advancing more enjoyable. There are some intense and enjoyable set pieces, and some missions that feel like the team really experimented with the cod formula and tried something new.. What makes it good though is the story, which has actually relatable characters and character growth, and some actual poignant moments. It still ends up being a bit too patriotic, and has a very simplistic view of war, but the writing even if cliche is solid enough to work. Its not the disjointed mess of Black Ops 3.
Competitive multiplayer: they really dropped the ball on this one. The maps are extremely small and give a big vantage to anyone who picks the shorter ranged weapons. It feels good to shoot, but the time to kill is to reduced, which combined with the low FOV means that a lot of deaths will frustratingly come with your back turned to them. And it fails to bring anything new to the set ups. There is a War mode that tries to insert more teamwork in the matches, but i think they are just pandering to the wrong audience in that one. There are a lot of issues with it, but at the end of the day i just didnt find it satisfying to play.
So yea, its worth playing for the campaign, which is a solid, short and intense rump with some poignant moments.

Can't remember a single moment from this campaign other than that one mission where you infiltrate some office building, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Multiplayer was so mid.
