You HAVE to end up with a certain reputation by the end of certain parts of the story. For the way the plot is set up, it works, but I wish it could be different. It’s so insanely frustrating to me."
agreed, this was annoying. they could have implemented the ability to choose a faction and make it possible to interact with each member outside of the general "hey!", or "you suck!". it's still a really great game that i love to go back to, but the lack of choice in interactions and belonging can make the game feel empty sometimes.
