Title
If there's one thing Buck Bumble did right, it's the control. It really feels amazing to play and is seriously impressively tuned for an N64 game--and a flight-based game no less. Thanks to this, Buck's arsenal is fun to play with and zipping around the environment blasting bugs is a joy.

Unfortunately, the level design is less impressive and the game lacks story and character. Objectives are repetitive and boring, requiring you to clear an area of enemies or destroy certain objects. In this sense, levels are very much arena-based. I think there was potential here for a more story-driven game; the 'arena shooter' route taken by the devs left Buck Bumble feeling eerily barren and mundane.
