Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition

New to the souls games. The combat is really great, but the build variety is pretty lacking. Bloodtinge only has the chikage and you get it pretty late in the game. Arcane weapons and the hunter’s tools are more supplemental in nature. Also I really don’t think I’m very good at games, maybe slightly above average but the game was pretty manageable. Killed The One Reborn and Mergo’s Wet Nurse first try, everything else took a handful of tries. Except for Gascoigne. That fucker is such a roadblock, and he’s so much faster than everything else. Don’t have the DLC though, hear people say that’s harder.

Miyazaki literally did an interview almost begging Sony to port this to PC.

Thinking about how this will only become available on PC in the form of a remake, genuinely so fucking over.

Greatest Lovecraft game ever and its not even close.

Still the best FromSoft game, and it's not particularly close, even for as great as all their output has been besides DS3. It really is a sickening joke that this of all their games is the one relegated to chugging on the PS4.

I feel like the main reason people are inclined to single this one out as the best is because of its exclusivity and one-off nature. Down to the nit & gritty of it it doesn't do much the Souls games don't and IMO Elden Ring is objectively more ambitious and a technical marvel. I love it I just think it's kinda overrated
