anything that can be said abt this game's content (and, by proxy, any emotions it wrings out of you) is a spoiler imo. seriously do not read this if you havent played through it all (actually thinking about it there really isnt an end or sense of completion to this game beyond thatof hitting the escape button - try to get as full an experience as u can is my point), maybe even a few times. if u can get into any media that is at all abstract u will get sth out of it

i already did this. the more i think abt what i heard saw did drank etc in this game the more i solidify th connection in my mind between bernie (name im giving th vessel u play as) / pff and myself and the world arnd me circa abt a yr ago which i hope (!) is in a more general sense the point. u get a very very strong instance of deja vu watching those cars blow bernies / yr body back - th same one that sits with you for the rest of the game. only an alien game insofar as You are the alien and everyone else (earthborn) is going about their fucking business. th months i spent walking around empty universities (the one i attended as well as one near my house), trying 2 become a ghost, watching a small birdflock waddle off fr 3 hours, listening to th wind like it was composed, opening every door accidentally left unlocked, mindlessly stimulating myself w as much abstract reality as i cld get my hands on to forget the one i was lovingly ankleknotted to until i had to desperately rummage through my memory so i cld position myself and my house and what all the places in between looked like. my dreams cld never be as vivid. bernband figured out th formula to all that! just like th real thing replay value unfortunately sucks - dont have a huge problem with this

on a more specific level i was rly struck by one of the few rly clear progressions in the rooms: dance hall -> small venue -> classroom -> church. was around there i was really hit with all this. how there were seats open for me but there was no reason 2 inhabit any of them for any purpose beyond naive, almost hedonistic curiosity so it did not matter if i did. cant understand what the woman is saying anyway but i hope u noticed her depiction of a person was a stick figure, or the library tv showing what were i think chinese characters, etc - these sorts of details prolly subconsciously clued me into the idea that i really was just walking through someplace on earth as an alien with different-but-similar sensory organs. a sort of ultimate in Other Perspectives in that way. the only stage u can stand on is the one in church and that room is empty. i dont actually know if that means anything. drinking sucks in this game anyway. hope others can connect as strongly as i did w this games ideas. if this is bad tell me ! trying to write better
