Batman: Arkham Knight

Ngl i enjoyed the tank missions more than i thought i would. Fuck chasing the APCs tho

story is horrible but it’s great otherwise

The first third of this game is the best in the series but then it goes nowhere and eventually downhill. Should've just been linear, or semi-open world.

who would have thought that the joker would be the most fun post-mortem. haunting batman like a twisted annoying sidekick.

also i really like the tank combat, the batmobile feels great to handle in general

still the worst writing i've ever seen in a game. batmobile omnipresence still dogshit. sidequests still dogshit. combat still ruined by neutering freeflow focus. dlc still dogshit. interesting setup like hush and azrael still ruined (obviously a result of them firing dini)

firing paul dini then turning around and sharting out one of the single worst stories ever written still one of the most embarrassing maneuvers i've ever seen pulled by a major studio.

still one of the most elite games ever made graphically. still one of the most elite movement systems ever made in a game. still one of the worst games ever made overall.

glad suicide squad is going to get the reception this game deserved, at least. although i'm shocked no one seemed to see that dumpster fire coming after this utter mess of a game.
