Kinda shocked this doesn't get more love, tbh. I thought this was one of Capcom's best early games. It's a top-down Final Fight three years before that game existed. Good music, charming and diverse backgrounds, varied and interesting (if brief) bonus levels, and boss fights that have a clear concept to their encounters alongside decently interesting character designs. It's got some obvious flaws: hitboxes are pretty janky at times; in particular the player character's attacks often feel like they don't have nearly the reach you'd expect; the projectile-throwing enemies can get a little ridiculous at points, and that snake boss on stage 5 can get fucked. But honestly this was a lot of fun. If anything I actually feel like it might be on the easier side, particularly for Capcom's early arcade fare.
