After the emperor of the moon colony Adastra passes away, his two sons—Amicus and Cassius—find themselves competing against each other for the throne. Temporarily left without an emperor, the wolf-like alien race has lost contact with the Parents, mysterious beings responsible for distributing advanced technology and resources. As part of his plan to claim emperorship and re-establish communication with the Parents, Amicus kidnaps a human from Earth who finds himself at the center of the brothers' conflict and becomes embroiled in Adastra's political affairs.

    Ok am I a hypocrite if Echo is too furry for me and this isn’t? I know it’s a wild take and I’m amused at my own taste there. Idk if it’s just because the video I watched on this game was way higher quality than any Echo vids I’ve seen and convinced me better, but this is actually a lot more appealing to me. I honestly might try this eventually, I feel I can just vibe with this one more in everything I’ve seen. Helps that the art is a lot more consistent too, it honestly has a very appealing style and character design ethos. Much more identity to this than the Echo art lending it appeal beyond furry aesthetic.
    I guess the mc being a human helps for me, but I know it’s not the entire reason I vibe with this more. To avoid the risk of rambling about those assumptions on the games or spoiling anything I will leave that out here and just leave this game in consideration.

    I seriously wish I could just vibe with more VNs because seeing the connection people have to some makes me jealous, but so few of the top ones appeal to me aesthetically. They’re mostly anime with a few furry thrown in, even fewer that break those styles- and for another hot take, the furry aesthetic may generally be “not for me” but I find the anime aesthetic in those VNs downright offputting, so I’m at least more willing to give this a chance. That’s about other games anyway so uh yeah I will actually consider playing this.

      Like seriously I feel this is one of my most abstract/funny takes and I admit it. Some of my top games are even super anime. But with all these things there are specific flavors to the anime and furry art setting them apart for me.

      this game is waaay way more furry than echo once you get into it. i see how it could be easily interpreted as less furry at first, but i absolutely disagree. this game was way too furry for me to enjoy, while echo ended up being one of my favorite games ever.

      I've been convinced that this story is actually doing like a deconstruction of typical dating sim and romance tropes and all that, but a lot of it still hinges on falling for Amicus and he was always a bit too much of a 'beefy wholesome himbo' type for me
